Over the past several days JFury has been showing off the newest of his resin creations. At 6pm EST, he will be releasing his 3 5″ Gooblin Night Creeps figures. All 3 have custom transparent paint jobs and all 3 are Glow in the dark. Each Gooblin is only $40 each and will come signed and with a little Gooblin Sketch and can be found HERE.
The newest and most colorful of the badass line will be coming out on May 1 through Toy Art Culture. For those unfamiliar, the Badass is designed by Kronk and produced by Pobber. The figures will be available at Toy Art Culture and later online.
Yesterday, Ian dropped the nugget of info that starting Sunday at 4:20pm EST he’d be dropping several customs in his new store HERE.They will be a total of 4 customs Dunnys and Mini Nugs Series 3. The customs dunnys include a Cheech and Chong set, Nuggs (“the golden Nugget” and a “hydroponics grow dome” All that will ranging from $130 to $300.
Yesterday we received a cryptic e-mail regarding a SDCC release from Jermaine Rogers. We’ve heard him talk on and off about thinking that he’d have something for SDCC, and it appears that a vinyl version of his rabbit figure will be the hot item to expect. We weren’t told much more otherwise we’d be leaving you a little less in the dark.
We’ve steadily brought you updates on the Mighty Jaxx artist series of Sket One Dripple figures. As of an hour ago, Mighty Jaxx revealed the Huck Gee design that will be included in the Kickstarter series. Also in this photo we learn the release of the Kickstarter campaign with is April 25th, so get ready.
Though with WonderCON already a day in the books, we finally got the info to release relating to the Squid Kids Ink bazaar. There will be a mix of the new and old varying from plush to keychains to vinyl figures. The keychains come in 6 different designs for $10 each: 10Doh!, A-Drive, B-Side, and for the 1st time ever Atar-1, Atar-2, and Atar-3. The 7″ Squibs: They came from Space 10-doh! (pictured above) is limited to 25 piece available at WonderCON and the remaining through distribution for $35. Finally, the Squib and the Squib Kid resin figure are $40 for the 3″ version and $75 for the 5″ version or the pair for $100. Stop by booth #1145 to see what the deals are.
After long anticipation, Tom Whalen has finally revealed the print that he has contributed to the Ghostbusters 3oth Anniversary show through Gallery 1988. Be sure to check out the other prints and art involved as there are many artists that have their hands in projects in this show.
Last night while surfing Instagram we came across an upcoming release through Circus Posterus involving Tomenosuke. The fact that Brandt Peters, Chris Ryniak, and Amanda Louise Spayd all posted an image as well should give you good hint that they obviously have a hand in the upcoming release.
Tomorrow marks the release of two prints from Mondo that come from icon roots. The above is the beloved Sendak classic “Where the Wild Things Are”. The poster is by Nicolas Delort and is an 18″x24″ screen print, edition of 250 and priced at $40. Then below is a Jaws print by Cesar Moreno which is a 12″x36″ print, edition of 375 and retailing for $45. As usual, expect the prints somewhere very close to noon.
Many things are going down this coming Friday at Kidrobot in Boulder, Colorado. The Scott Tolleson and Jeremy MADL event will be in full swing and we’ve already brought you the excitement that MAD brings to the table HERE. Scott will be presenting his bright green colorway of the Trayjus figure in its debut. Be sure to be there in full force and show Scott and MAD just how much you care for them.
With the success of the previous MADL 18″ banks, Kidroot has thrown their hat in the ring and introduced their bright green bank that will be coming out soon. The bank will be officially released in Boulder, CO at the Kidrobot location this coming Friday during a release event with MAD present.
After posting about Sket One’s Dripple mini-figure HERE that is being produced by Mighty Jaxx, we’ve now come across Luke Chueh mutilating a Dripple. We can’t help but assume that this is working towards a Kickstarter funded Dripple mini series. We’ll have to wait and see, but it seems like a reasonable assumption.
Yesterday, BLDG released a print from artist Austin Dunbar. “The War on Drugs” is a 19″x25″ print that is an edition of 30 prints for $35 HERE that was the official poster for the April 11th show at 20th Century Theatre in Cincinnati.
Sket One moments ago just dropped a bomb on people as peoples’ jaws may have just hit the floor. Sket is introducing his ambitious 25″ tall “Our Father” figure. The figure in addition to being 25″ tall is 16″ wide and 8″ deep and is limited to 25 pieces for $999 and is 10 pounds in weight. For those of you ready for the undertaking in your collection, the piece will be available this Friday (April 18) HERE. For those whose pocketbooks or wallets may not be quite fat enough, 1xRun will have related prints and prayer candles. Either way, the gauntlet has been thrown down.
Moments ago Scott Kinnebrew posted a new item in his store (a new and only item in his store). These small little figures, once sold out will close his store again until more stuff pops up after his show (or later). These 3″ resin figures can be found HERE.
Over the weekend Mutant Vinyl Hardcore blew the lid on the secret release and now Rotofugi has officially released the details. The 12″ tall vinyl figure was designed by GEEK!, with production by Medicom, and paint by Mutant Vinyl Hardcore’s Rich Montanari Jr. Priced at US $165, this figure will be sold by lottery. Entries will be accepted through 12 Noon Central Time on Friday, April 18, 2014. You can enter the lottery HERE.

In a bit of local Ohio news, a Cincinnati bar towards Over the Rhine is having an event benefiting #BeerAutismHope.On April 18th at 9pm Arnold’s Bar and Grill is releasing a limited edition screenprint in collaboration with Keith Neltner and Great Lakes Brewing Company to raise funds and awareness for #beerautismhope and Lance’s Brewery Tour. The print is an 18″x24″ print limited to 50 for $20. In addition to the print, Great Lakes will be tapping a Cask Conditioned Firkin of their fabled, impossible to find and extremely delicious Cherry Vanilla Edmund Fitzgerald Porter. That one is going to run out fast. Arnold’s will be donating $1 of every Great Lakes pint sold to Lance’s Room, a charity from Lance Rice to fund Scholarships for people with Autism. Top that all off with one of Cincinnati’s best bands, The Hot Magnolias, playing their own brand of swinging Cajun music from 9-12:30
After weeks of teasing the release of the Hateball figures, Frank Kozik has finally announced the release information coinciding with this coming Wednesday. The Hateball Freaky Fritz figures will be coming out on Wednesday at 3pm EST in his store HERE. The heads are perfect for customizers or those that want unpainted items. This flesh and mint colorway combination won’t be re-made and fit on a range of both “fight figure” bodies and larger ones. There will be 30 sets of these where the flesh/mint helmet and flesh/mint head are random and you’ll get what you get. For the $65 you get both a 4″ and 3″ random mix figures. To sweeten the pot, two lucky orders will receive a full figure (head + body). Best of luck as these will likely sell out fast.
Yesterday Jermemy Madl showed off the newest and next of the micro madl figures: GID green. Like with all the previous ones, we expect these to sell out fast and we will try to bring you the release info when it breaks.
For those of you that stalk Huck‘s goingson and feed, you’ll remember the white skullhead bust that released a number of months ago and quickly sold out. Via Huck’s instagram, we now see that a red skullhead bust is very close to being released and likely has many people waiting in anticipation. We’ll try to bring news as it breaks.
Most know that school is hard work, but at the end, you get rewarded for effort with a piece of paper. Imagine 5 years of constant schooling emotionally killing you. Sergio Mancini has taken it a step further with his newest 3″ dunny which shows the physical toll on someone. This edition of 12 figures is available HERE for $100 and will be shipping in May.
