A few weeks ago we discovered a company called ArtBillboards who are currently making massive art prints of work from some amazing artists. One of those artist is the Emo Bear himself Luke Chueh, who has about six massive prints available. We picked up the 40″x50″ ‘I Asked For Scrambled’ print for the UVD HQ and we must say that we are thoroughly impressed with these prints.
The piece arrives in a massive poster tube and is packed with a nice cardboard sleeve inside the tube so it is well protected during shipping. Once we unrolled the piece we noticed the quality of the paper that the art comes printed on. This 225gsm ultra-matte durable and curl resistant Fine Art Paper works really well for this large application so that it doesn’t get damaged while installing the piece on your wall.
The installation process is very easy! The print includes an installation guide and some double sided 3M strips to use to install on the wall. All you have to do is attach the strips evenly around the back of the print and then you are ready to hang it on the wall. The whole process for us took about 30 minutes from the time we opened it to finished project.
If you are a fan of art and are looking for a print to fill a big spot on your wall then I highly suggest you check out ArtBillboards. These inexpensive pieces (Just $80 each) allow you to enjoy some great art in a large scale without cleaning out your bank account. To check out all the pieces from Chueh click HERE. If you would like to check out pieces from the other artist AB is working with click HERE.
