Today we are taking a look at another great art book ‘Idle Hands: The Art of Coop’. This book chronicles the classic pin up and hot rod style that Coop has become famous for. This 200 page, hard cover book, is Coop’s first book in a decade and I must say it was worth the wait!
This book was produced byBaby Tattoo, and they did a great job with this one! The cover not only looks awesome it feels very well made. Not only is the art awesome but this book also features heavy gloss paper that really helps make the total package. One thing to note about this book is it is not for kids, Coop is know for his pin up girls and many of these are in the buff.
When putting this book together Coop and Baby Tattoo did a really nice job with the lay of of the pieces. Often we see pieces in varies stages of the creative process. I always like to see how piece evole and change throughout out the creative process.
I would definitely suggest that any Coop fan add this book to their collection. It is also a great way for anyone that is interested in his work to get a great over view of his unique style. If you want to pick one up you can get yours HERE for $34.
